  • Warm up to swing.  Don't swing to warm up.

    A specific warming up for golf incorporates movements that will be used later in the swing.

    Making swings aren't designed to get the muscles ready and prepare the movements that require mobility and power.

  • The key to an effective warming up is to warm up. 

    A warming up shouldn't be a workout. Stick to doing the simple things really well and stop making it over complicated. It sounds simple but way too often golfers limit their performance by assumptions or adopting old fashioned beliefs that are still instructed to this day.

  • The warming up is a body mind experience, not just a physical experience. 

    By just going through the motions while already worrying about the expectations of the upcoming round we miss a huge potential. Every day is different, and so is the state of our body. Make sure to adapt the length and intensity of the warming up accordingly.  

  • Just Breathe.

    This will decrease unwanted tension in your muscles which restrict a full flexible rotational movement and it will add mental focus, clarity and confidence.
